Technical description
  • New construction of the shopping centre Huma in Vienna (Simmering)
  • The support structure has been constructed in conventional way with reinforced concrete
  • Ceilings mostly constructed as flat slabs
  • Support grids for the flat slabs measure 10,00 to 10,90 meters
  • Pillars constructed as square circular-columns with reinforced concrete
  • Foundation of the supports with individual and continuous footing, in the area of the staircases and lifts the supporting walls are founded on base plates
  • Assessment of the structural-constructional design according to the requirements of the Austrian Institute for Structual Engineering
  • On the upper floor: outdoor parking spaces roofed by a steel construction and with access via a ramp on the southern side
